SAC-IT Privacy Policy:

i.
SAC-IT complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States. SAC-IT has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov/. ii.                
SAC-IT is a back-up/hosting company and does not actively collect or own any types of personal data. We are however data processors for our customers and their personal data collected from EU citizens. Through providing our main services we have access to both sensitive and non-sensitive personal data which is always being hosted by our corporate company SAC-IT Denmark. We are adhering to the principles of GDPR and Privacy Shield to make sure that our customers have the same privacy security rights regardless if work is being performed in Denmark or USA.

SAC-IT subjects to the Principles for all personal data received from the EU in reliance on the Privacy Shield,

iv.            
We are not actively collecting personal data. We are solely hosting, performing back-up and monitoring data on the request of our customers. We only process data after having a signed data processor agreement in place making it lawful for us according to GDPR and Privacy Shield to process any personal data legally obtained by our customer.

SAC-IT commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to data HR and non-HR transferred from the EU.

vi.            
SAC-IT does not disclose any type of personal information outside the SAC-IT corporate company. It is purely being hosted, administered or monitored by request of our customer who is the data owner making it illegal for SAC-IT to disclose any personal information to a third party.

vii.          
SAC-IT honors the right of individuals to access their personal data but any such request will have to go through the original data owner as it would be unlawful for us to disclose any information that we are not the owner of.
 

viii.        
Any inquiries from the data subjects regarding the choices for limiting the use and disclosure of their personal data, will likewise have to be submitted to the original data owner. Trough hosting data we are not legally responsible for the owners use of any personal data obtained from the data subject.

ix.            
SAC-IT accepts that under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield the independent dispute resolution body designated to address complaints and provide appropriate recourse free of charge to the individual, and whether it is: (1) the panel established by DPAs, (2) an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the EU, or (3) an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States.

SAC-IT accepts being subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC, the Department of Transportation or any other U.S. authorized statutory body.
 

xi.          
SAC-IT accepts the possibility, under certain conditions, for the individual to invoke binding arbitration.
 

xii.        
SAC-IT accepts the requirement to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, and
its liability in cases of onward transfers to third parties.
